Music, Food, Vendors and More...

Celebrate Petworth is known for great music! This year we'll have a ton of bands playing the main stage on Upshur Street, and at the 2nd Annual Petworthpalooza concert.

Plus, we'll have dozens of vendors set up under tents, including the all new Taste of Petworth, where you can try food from restaurants located in and around Petworth.

Plus we have a special award ceremony honoring the Petworth residents who inspired and helped create new animal welfare laws in DC ("Momma's Law") a reality. Ceremony starts at 12:15pm on the main stage.

Petworthpalooza

The Petworthpalooza is a free music show made up of local DC and Petworth-area musicians, hosted by Drew Schneider from Petworth News. The show is located in the gravel lot next to Capital Hydroponics (enter from the alley next to Petworth Citizen and the Petworth mural off of Upshur Street).  Four local bands, four hours, $5 beer and cider. Petworth History Tent

Petworth has a long history of being a residential neighborhood where people buy homes, raise families and work to create a community. Come hear local residents and historians talk about DC and Petworth.
